Five weeks into their remote global internship, our group of summer interns from Swinburme, LaTrobe and University of Melbourne are no longer strangers to Malaysian remote working life, some of them even started ending their sentences with the ever-so-Malaysian ‘lah’.

Every week the group attend a 2-hour interactive Culture and Language zoom session with Natasha and Michele who take them through different aspects of Malaysian life, and culture and language through visual presentations and off-the-cuff anecdotes, with a dedicated language section that’s light and fun.

By incorporating the ‘Kenali Malaysia’ campaign into the remote internship module we give students as much exposure and cultural immersion as if they were actually here.
